If you would like to fish the Pepacton Reservoir
you need to apply in advance for a newly issued permit.
Due to 9/11, NYC reservoirs and the sections of streams above these reservoirs owned by
NYC, are only fishable with a new free permit. This permit application must be sent
in for a background check in advance. They no longer issue the free permits on site
in Downsville. Old permits are no longer valid, everyone must apply for a new
permit. The following are the Web Site for reissuing reservoir permits. You
can download the application on-line and mail it to Kingston for processing.
When you arrive you can pick up your new permit at the Downsville Office showing your
drivers license.
